How Do I Add Beats in Outline View?

1. Navigate to the Outline view by clicking on ‘Outline’ in the center of the top bar, or with the keyboard shortcut ‘Option + Shift + Cmd + B.’
2. Click on a beat.
3. Click ‘+ Add beat’ or use the keyboard shortcut ‘Shift + Return’ to add a new beat directly below the selected beat.

This beat will be added to the Plot Board in the same place in your story structure.
