- Navigate to the Treatment view by clicking on the book icon in the top right, or with the keyboard shortcut ‘Option + Shift + Cmd + B.’
- Click on a beat.
- Click ‘+ Add beat’ or use the keyboard shortcut ‘Shift + Return’ to add a new beat directly below the selected beat.
This beat will be added to the Plot Board in the same place in your story structure.
