    How Do I Export A Selection from My Script As a PDF?

    1. Highlight the portion of your script you’d like to export.

    3. Click on the Export icon in the top bar.
    4. Select Export file…

    6. Click on PDF
    7. Click on the dropdown menu to the right Export area
    8. Select Selected text

    10. Click the Style dropdown arrow to choose
      1. Title page included
      2. Scene numbers included (They will only show if scene numbers have been assigned)
      3. Whether to show character highlights (They will only show if they are in the script)
      4. Font
      5. Any watermark you want included

    11. Click the Comments and Alts dropdown arrow if you want to include your comments and alts in your script. PLEASE NOTE: This feature is in Beta and the comments might not show in all PDF readers. We recommend opening the PDF in Chrome to read the comments on the PDF.

    13. Select what Changemarks you want to include in the export.
      1. Current will reflect whatever changemarks are currently shown in your script
      2. None will show no changemarks
      3. Custom lets you choose which draft you want to compare changes to, and how you want to see the changes (marked By Author, By Revision, All Blue, or None)
      4. Shows stars will show the star in the right margin for the changes.

    14. Click Export when you’ve made all your selections.
    15. Choose the name of the file and where you want it to be saved. (Make sure to note where you’re saving it so you can find it after.)
    16. Click ā€˜Save’
