    The Stash

Have a piece of of dialogue or a scene that you're not sure about? The Stash is a place for you to discard sections of your script, without deleting them completely. Either bring them back later with drag & drop, or delete them for good when you're sure you want to do so.

    Stashing a piece of text

To stash a section of your script, first select it, then click the stash icon.

    Stash Shortcuts

There are a few shortcuts to make using the stash seamless:

    • option+backspace (on a mac) or alt+backspace (on a pc) will add your selection to the stash without a title

    • shift+option+backspace (on a mac) or shift+alt+backspace (on a pc) will add your selection to the stash and automatically prompt you to enter a title.
