Have a piece of of dialogue or a scene that you're not sure about? The Stash is a place for you to discard sections of your script, without deleting them completely. Either bring them back later with drag & drop, or delete them for good when you're sure you want to do so.
Stashing a piece of text
To stash a section of your script, first select it, then click the stash icon.
Adding a title to your stash
To help with your organization, you can add a title to your stash entry by clicking the pencil icon under the stash entry and entering a title.
Stash Shortcuts
There are a few shortcuts to make using the stash seamless:
option+backspace
(on a mac) oralt+backspace
(on a pc) will add your selection to the stash without a titleshift+option+backspace
(on a mac) orshift+alt+backspace
(on a pc) will add your selection to the stash and automatically prompt you to enter a title.
Recovering stashed sections
Stashed text lives in the Stash sidebar.
- To preview the full section, click it.
- To recover it, drag & drop it onto your script.
