Arc Studio allows you to create a duplicate copy of a script. This is an independent file that cannot be merged back into the original file.
PLEASE NOTE: Certain aspects of the original script file do not carry over to the copy. These include:
- Snapshots and Branch Copies - Only the current working draft is duplicated.
- Tracked changes - All revision history and change marks are cleared.
- Alts - Paragraph-level alternates are not included.
- Scene Number Overrides - Custom scene numbers are reset.
- Production data - Table Read assignments and locked pages are not copied.
To duplicate a script:
- Find the script in your Scripts list on the desk and click on the
…menu - Click on
Duplicate

The duplicate script will have the same name with (copy) at the end.
