How Do I Duplicate My Script?

Arc Studio allows you to create a duplicate copy of a script. This is an independent file that cannot be merged back into the original file.

    💡

PLEASE NOTE: Certain aspects of the original script file do not carry over to the copy. These include:

    • Snapshots and Branch Copies - Only the current working draft is duplicated.
    • Tracked changes - All revision history and change marks are cleared.
    • Alts - Paragraph-level alternates are not included.
    • Scene Number Overrides - Custom scene numbers are reset.
    • Production data - Table Read assignments and locked pages are not copied.

    To duplicate a script:

    1. Find the script in your Scripts list on the desk and click on the … menu
    2. image
    3. Click on Duplicate

The duplicate script will have the same name with (copy) at the end.
