Your script will automatically show the page number in the top right corner of the document, but you can also add it manually if it’s been deleted or select another area in your headers or footers to display the page number.
- Access the Settings menu with the keyboard short cut
⌘ ,or by clicking the Settings ‘gear icon’ and then clicking ‘All settings’ - Select ‘Headers and Footers’ in the menu on the left.
- Click on the text box in the Header or Footer where you wish the page number to appear, and then click on the macro for ‘Current page number’
