How Do I Tag and Untag Comments?

You can tag your comments to organize and filter them into different categories.

1. While writing a comment, type #
2. Choose an existing tag from the pop-up menu, or create a new one by typing the name of the tag (like typo ). Then click “Create new tag: ‘typo’”

Alternatively, you can tag existing comments or untag them:

1. Select a comment, then click the ‘#’ symbol.

2. Create a new tag by typing in the text box that appears, or select tags you have already made. (To untag a comment, click on a tag with a checkmark next to it.)

Custom tags are added on the script level or the project level: if the script where the tag is introduced belongs to a project, the tag will be available across all scripts of that project.
