When you navigate to an empty Plot Board, you will see the ‘Start your beat outline’ screen. To select a template, simply click on the one you want to use from the presented options.
If you already have beats on your Plot Board and you want to start over with a template, delete all the beats on the board to return to the ‘Start your beat outline’ screen.
Good to know: If you already have scenes in your script that are linked to these beats, and you don’t want to lose them, select ‘ Remove beat, keep script section’ when deleting the beats. This will keep the scenes in your script intact. You can then link these scenes to the new beats you create.
