While you are tracking changes, anything typed is changed to a color text and asterisks (called “stars”) appear in the right margin.
You may want to hide the color text and stars in particular places throughout your script. There are two ways you can do this:
“Hide selected marks” (hide change marks just for what is highlighted)
- With change tracking activated, highlight the color text you want to hide.
- In the palette bar, click the asterisk icon.
- Select ‘Hide selected marks’
“Hide all marks in paragraph”
- Click on the paragraph you wish to hide marks in.
- In the palette bar, click the asterisk icon.
- Select ‘Hide all marks in paragraph’
To hide all the changes in the script choose ‘Hide marks for me’ in the Changes menu in the tool bar.
